The Ballot Measure:

Measure N:
Yuba Highlands Development Project

Ballot Question:  Shall the approval of the Yuba Highlands Development Project pursuant to Resolution 2007-95, consisting of approximately 2,600 acres and including Single Family Low Density, Single Family Medium Density, Multi-Family, Core Commercial, Business Park, Public Facility and Open Space, be adopted?

Roger Abe for Yuba Co Board of Supervisors

The NO on Yuba Highlands Committee is enthusiastically endorsing Roger Abe for Yuba County Board of Supervisors in the June election.

Mr. Abe is running against Supervisor Shrader who was a supporter of Yuba Highlands.

You can help us help Roger in 2 ways:

1.  Donation:  Send the NO on Yuba Highlands Committee a donation earmarked to Mr. Abe and we will send a combined donation from the Committee

2.  Signs:  Volunteer to put up signs or designate your property for placement of a sign.

Mr. Abe made it clear to us that he feels that the NO on Yuba Highlands was a mandate to supervisors.  He agrees that the densities need to be decreased substantially in the overall 21,000 acre River Highlands area (which includes Yuba Highlands).  He is very concerned about traffic from that area impacting Wheatland.

Roger Abe grew up in Wheatland and is concerned about traffic and protecting Beale.  He is willing to work hard until election day.

He has an excellent campaign planned.

He is on the High School Board.  A walnut farmer and lawyer.  Three young adult children.  The park in Wheatland is named after his dad.  He is very nice, listens well, and is very personable.  Bob Coe, one of our supporters is his campaign manager and a great guy too.

Mr. Abe's election would be a great step forward in preserving the Yuba foothills and eleminating the spectre of Yuba Highlands and a population of 25,000 in
River Highlands for good.

Please help us help him!
